Famed television personalities Drew and Jonathan Scott have taken their television success and created an empire that ranges from Scott Living home collections to a New York Times Best Sellers List book.
But the entrepreneurial twin brothers have been entertaining audiences long before they became Property Brothers stars. They were both actors even while attending school for their respective interests in real estate and construction. That longtime passion for film and film production led to the creation of their own production company, which later became Scott Brothers Entertainment, a major arm of the Scott Brothers lifestyle brand. Scott Brothers Entertainment is an independent production company defined by a commitment to produce high-quality, multi-genre content across all platforms. With offices in both the US and Canada, Scott Brothers Entertainment is currently in production on two original series for Scripps Networks Interactive, as well as developing numerous projects for various platforms.
Each brother carved his own individual niche in the entertainment industry by performing, writing, directing, and producing for a number of years before they found on-screen success. Drew and Jonathan have co-hosted the popular television show Property Brothers since its inception in 2011. The show has also spun off several other series, including Property Brothers at Home, Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch, Buying + Selling and Brother vs. Brother, all starring the Scott brothers. The shows air worldwide on major networks including HGTV, W Network and Discovery Home & Health. As their shows continued to garner HGTV’s highest ratings, the brothers began expanding their brand and online presence. In 2013 they hosted the radio show Off Topic With The Scott Brothers with their older brother JD Scott, and were simultaneously garnering a huge social media following. From their wildly popular appearances at home design conferences and industry conventions to partnerships with other forward-thinking, innovative brands, they’re highly visible in the home space and beyond.
In early 2015, they launched Scott Living, their own outdoor furniture and accessories line with QVC. The contemporary, stylish pieces quickly created buzz and became one of QVC’s top-selling brands, leading them to expand into indoor furniture and linens. They also inked several other Scott Living deals with popular stores such as Lowe’s and Orchard Supply Hardware.
They also showcased their music talents with two country singles, “Hold On” and “Let The Night Shine In,” available on iTunes and Scott Shop. “Hold On” charted at #37 on the Billboard Hot Country chart and garnered more than 3 million Vevo views. In between the release of the singles, their long-awaited book, Dream Home: The Property Brothers’ Ultimate Guide To Finding & Fixing Your Perfect House, hit shelves. The book took two years to write and is filled with extensive info on attaining the home you want, real estate negotiations, fix-its and design tips, in addition to answering many of their most commonly asked home and design questions.
The in-demand duo is constantly traveling for appearances, events, book signings, meet-and-greets and guest host spots. As a result of their projects, television shows and media coverage, the brothers have an explosive social media following. Collectively holding millions of followers, Jonathan and Drew are constantly coming up with new ways to entertain, often partnering with influencers and creating new viral content for their loyal fans.
